Privacy

Short version: this site sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites and keeps no record of who you are.

What we count

When a page loads, we add one to a counter for that day: which page, where the visitor came from (the referring site, or the utm_source tag in the link), and which country. That is all. The counters are totals. There are no per-visitor records, no user IDs, and no way to look up a single visit.

How the country is found

The country is worked out from your IP address while your request is being handled, using the free DB-IP Lite database kept on our own server. The IP address is not written down anywhere and is discarded straight away. Nothing is sent to a third-party analytics service. IP Geolocation by DB-IP.

Cookies and storage

None. We set no cookies, we use no local storage and no fingerprinting. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.

Do Not Track and bots

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the counter is skipped. Known bots and speed-test tools are not counted.

Email

If you write to app@ayaner.net, or use the request box on the home page (which opens your email program), we use what you send only to reply and to do the work you ask about. Your message is kept in our email system.

Links to other sites

Links to ayaner.com, WordPress.org and other sites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Purchases are made on ayaner.com.
